Breathe, With Graphics

I’ve encountered some sporadic worrying among Obama supporters, but everyone needs to take a deep breath:

This is from FiveThirtyEight, polls in yellow include cell phone users. This graph below shows polling trends between Obama, Kerry, and Gore.

Lastly, there’s been some worry that all of the undecideds will split for McCain. This is from tonight’s CBS poll:

Relax.

    I’m still nervous. The thought of Sarah Palin being in a position of authority is downright terrifying.

    And then there’s that teensy little downwards trend at the end there. And the constant reports of voting booths that don’t work right, or actively work wrong. I have no doubt that if we did this caucus-style, Obama would win by a decent margin, but the memory of Dade County in 2000 is enough to keep us on our toes for at least another 36 hours.
