On a conference call with reporters this morning, McCain campaign manager and most venal human being on the planet Rick Davis, sketched out the plans going forward:
“I think we clearly stand on the verge of financial collapse on a daily basis,” Davis said at one point.
“The financial security of our country is at stake,” he said at another.
So, Davis forecast: “A lot of discussion about our ongoing plans to repair the national economy, rebuild job growth, and allow the private economy, unfettered by government, to try to grow the economy as much as we can.”
Please, pray tell, how does John McCain plan on rebuilding job growth while instituting a spending freeze? I look forward also to hearing John McCain explain how the “private economy, unfettered by government,” is any different than what sparked the current meltdown.
